Piling Complete: Harrington Reaches Ground Level

The last of eighty-four bored piers was poured on Collins Street this week, closing out the deepest and least visible stage of the Harrington Residences programme. Piling began in the third quarter of 2025 and ran eleven working days ahead of the construction schedule.

Excavation removed just over nineteen thousand cubic metres of material across four basement levels, all of it trucked out overnight under the City of Melbourne haulage permit so that Collins Street traffic was never reduced during business hours.

With the basement slab poured, the tower crane is scheduled to be erected next month and the core will begin its climb at roughly one floor every six working days. Residents who have registered their interest will receive fortnightly progress photography from the site camera.
