Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. Buying from us means you accept them. They were last revised in January 2026.

1. Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Canvas Clothing Store, 795 Folsom Ave, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107. Where these terms say "we" or "us" they mean that company; "you" means the person using the site.

2. Using the site

You may browse, buy and share links freely. You may not scrape the catalogue, resell our photography, attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, or use it to break the law. We may withdraw access from anyone who does.

Accounts are personal. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for orders placed from your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

3. Orders and contract

A product listing is an invitation to buy, not an offer. The contract forms when we email you a dispatch confirmation, not when payment is authorised. Until then we may decline an order; for example if the last unit sold twice, or if the price was listed in obvious error.

Prices are in US dollars and include sales tax where it applies. Delivery charges are shown before you pay.

4. Cancelling and returning

You have 30 days from delivery to return anything unworn with its tags, for a full refund. That is longer than the law requires and it does not affect your statutory rights. The detail is on the Exchange and Return page.

5. Our content

The photographs, copy, patterns and code on this site belong to us or to our licensors. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission. The Canvas name and mark are ours.

6. Liability

We stand behind everything we make and we do not limit our liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by us. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost time.

7. Changes

We may revise these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you place your order. Material changes are announced on this page for 30 days before they take effect.

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, and the courts of San Francisco have jurisdiction. If something has gone wrong, please write to us first; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
