Most electric bikes are built to a price and it shows in the frame. We started at the other end: a steel frame rated for a 140 kilogram rider plus luggage, then worked out what motor and battery it needed rather than the other way round.

The battery swaps without tools, which matters more than range figures suggest. A commuter with two batteries never waits for a charge; they carry a spare in a pannier and swap it at their desk. Sixty miles on one cell becomes a hundred and twenty on two.

We chose a belt rather than a chain because the single most common reason an e-bike ends up in a shed is drivetrain maintenance. A belt needs nothing, runs clean, and does not mark your trousers.

There is no cap on what a campaign can raise. Funding depends on your goal, the strength of your idea and how actively you share it with your audience. We charge a small platform fee only on successfully funded projects, so you keep the vast majority of every pledge your backers contribute toward bringing the product to life.

Can I offer my items for free on a promotional basis?

Yes. Many creators add a limited number of free or heavily discounted early-bird rewards to build momentum in the first 48 hours. You can also offer promotional add-ons, referral perks and bundle deals. Just set the quantity and end date in your reward settings and the platform handles the rest automatically for you.
