Milestone payouts for every category
2 August 2026: milestone-based fund release, previously limited to hardware, now applies to every category. Creators set their own milestones during campaign setup.
Campaign search and filters
18 July 2026: the Explore page gained free-text search, category filtering and three sort orders. Filters now survive paging.
Faster identity verification
30 June 2026: creator verification moved to a new provider. Median time from submission to approval fell from two days to under four hours.
Backer updates by email
5 June 2026: backers now receive campaign updates by email as well as on the page, with a per-campaign unsubscribe.
Lower platform fee
14 May 2026: the platform fee dropped to a flat rate across all categories, and the separate payment-processing charge was removed.
