Why a campaign here is worth backing: what we check before a project goes live, and what happens when one goes wrong.

Every campaign is read by a member of our review team before it goes live. We check the prototype, the manufacturing plan and the delivery date, and we turn down the projects that cannot answer for them.

Identity verified
Every creator completes identity verification before a campaign can open. Anonymous projects are not listed.
02.
Funds held in escrow
Money is released against milestones. A campaign that stalls cannot draw down the funds it has not earned.
03.
Updates in writing
Creators must report progress in writing, and we publish those updates on the campaign page where backers can see them.
04.
Report a campaign
Anyone can flag a campaign. Reports go to a reviewer, not a queue, and we reply to the person who raised it.
05.
Refunds
Funds still held against unmet milestones are returned to backers when a campaign is closed by us.
06.
Your data
We never sell backer data, and creators only ever see what they need to fulfil a reward.
