How our rapid screening appointments work, step by step
Booking your slot
Every screening starts with a booking. Choose a centre, pick a time that suits you and tell us who the appointment is for. You will get a confirmation straight away, plus a reminder the day before so nothing is forgotten in a busy week.
If you would rather speak to somebody first, our care team can walk you through the options and book the slot with you over the phone.
On the day
Arrive a few minutes early and check in at reception. A member of the care team will take you through the process, answer any questions and make sure you are comfortable before anything begins.
The visit itself is short. Most people are on their way again well within half an hour, and you are welcome to bring somebody with you for support.
Getting your results
Results arrive in the Covid Care app as soon as they are ready, and you will get a notification the moment they land. Everything stays in your record, so you can look back at earlier visits whenever you need to.
If you have questions once your results arrive, book a follow-up consultation from the same screen and one of our clinicians will talk them through with you.
