Food for Hungry

Hunger is rarely a shortage of food. It is a shortage of access, and it arrives fastest where drought, conflict or a failed harvest has taken away a family's income. Food for Hungry moves nutritious staples to the households that need them within days, not months.

Every contribution funds food parcels, community kitchens and the local food banks that keep supplying a neighbourhood long after an emergency has left the news.

We buy from regional farmers wherever we can, so the same money that feeds a family also supports the growers around them and keeps money circulating in the local economy.

Reaching this cause's target would fund a full year of weekly distributions across the six communities we currently serve.
