We host about 47,000 websites
Canvas started in 2014 because the two of us were tired of hosting companies that treated support as a cost centre. Twelve years later that is still the whole strategy.

What we optimise for
Almost every decision here comes down to one question: does this make the platform easier to trust? That is why the SLA credits itself without a ticket, why the migration is free, why the release fee on a domain is zero, and why we publish renewal prices next to first-year prices instead of hiding them.
It is also why we have never run a "special introductory rate" that triples on renewal. It works, but it works by surprising people, and a business built on surprising people has to keep finding new ones.
- Founded in 2014, profitable since 2017
- Nine regions, 16 Tbps of network capacity
- About 47,000 sites and 3,583 paying customers
- 62 people, of whom 41 are engineers
- No outside investment, no board seat to sell

Marcus Boateng
Head of InfrastructureResponsible for the nine regions and for the boring, unglamorous capacity planning that keeps them quiet.

Elena Ricci
Head of ComplianceTurns regulatory language into things engineers can actually implement, and audits us against them twice a year.
Come and see whether we mean it.
Ten days free, one free migration, and a support queue you can test before you pay.
