What we collect

When you buy a pass we collect your name, email address, billing address and the organisation you gave us. When you write to us we keep the message and the address you sent it from. When you sign up for the Brief we keep the email address and nothing else.

The website records the usual server log: the page requested, the time, and a truncated address. Logs are rotated after thirty days.

Why we collect it

• To issue your pass and get you through the door.
• To answer the message you sent us.
• To send the Brief, until you tell us to stop.
• To meet the accounting obligations that come with selling a ticket.

What we do not do

We do not sell attendee data, and we do not pass it to a partner unless you have asked us to introduce you. Speakers see a room, not a list.

How long we keep it

Ticket records are kept for the period our accountants require and then deleted. Brief subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are deleted a year after the edition they relate to.

Your rights

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will confirm within thirty days, and usually within two business days.
