Most adoptions complete within seven to ten days. That covers the enquiry, a meet and greet at the shelter, a short home check and the paperwork. If the dog you like needs medical treatment first, we will tell you the date before you commit to anything.

Yes, for many of our dogs. We ask about your hours because some dogs genuinely cannot be alone for long, and others are perfectly settled for a working day with a midday walk. Our counsellors match on the dog, never on a rule.

We do. Every dog is assessed with children in mind and we are honest when a dog is not suited to a busy household. If we say no to one dog, we will usually have two others who would love your family.

Vaccinations, microchipping, neutering where appropriate, a full health check, four weeks of behaviour support and a starter pack of the food the dog is already eating. It never covers our costs, and it is not meant to.

Identity check, two references, an in-person interview and our animal first aid course before a single booking. Sitters are then rated by the members who book them, and we publish every review.

Your coordinator arranges a backup sitter from the same area, and you are told before anything changes. Emergency vet cover runs for the whole booking either way.

The first consultation is free for members. If you want a full written plan with portion tables and a six-week review, that is included too. We only charge for supplements you choose to buy.

Nothing. A member account is free, and it is what gives you the clinic, the nutrition consultation, sitter matching and the ability to save dogs to a shortlist.

Every month one member drawn at random gets a box from our partner shops: food, a toy and something for the humans. You are entered automatically for as long as your account is active.
