Five Documents to Gather Before You Apply
Most delays in underwriting come from missing paperwork. Having these ready before you apply keeps our average close to 12 days.
- Pay stubs for the last 30 days
- W-2 forms or tax returns for the last two years
- Bank statements for the last two months
- Photo identification
- Details of any other loans or debts you pay each month
If You Are Self-Employed
Expect to add two years of business tax returns and a year-to-date profit and loss statement. Your loan officer will tell you exactly what each lender needs.
You can upload everything securely once your application is open, and your loan officer checks each file as it arrives.
