Remote work in a hostel is a rhythm, not a battle. Claim a desk early, use the quiet hours before lunch for anything that needs real focus, and let the common room be the reward at the end of the day.
Our workspace areas have desks, power at every seat and enough bandwidth for video calls. Headphones are the universal signal that someone is on a call; nobody will take it personally.
The best part of working from a hostel is not the desk. It is that when you close the laptop there is already a table of people deciding where to eat.
