Looking After Your Headphones

Headphones are the rare piece of electronics that live in a bag, get sat on, and are expected to last a decade. A few small habits make most of the difference between a pair that ages well and a pair that ends up in a drawer.

Store them dry and loose. Heat kills lithium cells faster than use does, so a car dashboard in summer is the worst place a wireless pair can spend an afternoon. If you will not use them for a month, leave them at about half charge rather than full or empty.

Clean the cushions with a barely damp cloth and nothing else. Alcohol and household cleaners strip the coating from protein leather, and once it starts flaking the pad is finished. Replacement pads for every model we sell are stocked in each of our stores.

When something does go wrong, the warranty covers manufacturing faults for two years from purchase. Bring the pair to any store or start a claim from our support page and we will tell you honestly whether a repair or a replacement is the better answer.
