A Civic Hub for a New District
Space Station is a transit and exhibition complex anchoring a regeneration district in Moscow. Its domed roof, assembled from more than six hundred triangular panels, floats above a concourse that connects the metro, a science museum and a public winter garden.
The scheme demanded precise coordination between the steel gridshell and the services threaded through it. We modelled every connection in a shared digital twin before fabrication, so the roof was erected in a single season despite the demanding winter climate.
