We started with six second-hand bikes in a railway arch. The idea has not changed since: make a good bike easy to get hold of, for a price that does not make you think twice.
A Fleet That Earns Its Keep
Every bike we own is serviced between rentals by our own mechanics, in our own workshop. Nothing goes out with a worn brake pad or a stretched chain, because a bike that fails on the road costs a rider their day and costs us their trust.
We keep the fleet small enough to know each bike by name and large enough that there is always one waiting. When a model stops earning its place, it is sold on to a rider who will use it and replaced with something better.
