Why we are building payments for agents

Every team we talked to had the same story. Their agent could find the right API, compare the plans and draft the sign-up, and then it stopped, because somebody had to get the company card out of a drawer.

Handing an agent a real card is not the answer. Nobody wants a shared card number in a prompt, with no budget and no record of what it was for. What teams wanted was a way to let agents pay for small, ordinary things on their own, and to see everything they did.

Give the agent a card, but give the human the controls.

That is what CanvasOrbit is. Single-use cards, budgets that cannot be exceeded, approvals when the stakes go up and a complete audit trail. We are starting with developer tools and API spend, and we will grow from there with the teams using it.
