Human approval now works in Slack

When an agent tries to spend more than your approval threshold, CanvasOrbit pauses the card and asks a person. Until now that request arrived by email or SMS. Starting today it can also arrive in Slack, in the channel or direct message you choose.

What the request shows

  • The agent that asked and the job it is working on
  • The merchant, the amount and the card budget left
  • Approve and Deny buttons that answer the agent straight away

The agent gets the answer through the same API call it is already waiting on, so there is nothing new to handle in your code. Approvals made in Slack appear in the audit log with the name of the person who tapped the button.

Connect a workspace from Settings, then choose a channel for each approval policy. Teams on the Developer plan can try it with up to five approvals a day.
