About this Project
Ten days on the island, working almost entirely in the first two hours of daylight when the light is soft and the roads are quiet.
The brief was portraiture that still shows where it was made, so every set-up keeps a piece of the place in frame: terraces, temple steps, a market waking up. Shot handheld with a single lens to keep the crew small and the subjects relaxed.
