How we handle your
The short version: we keep what an order needs, we do not sell anything to anyone, and you can have it deleted whenever you ask.
What we collect
When you place an order we keep your name, delivery address, email address and the contents of that order. Payment card details never reach our servers: they go straight to our payment provider, and we receive only a token that lets us refund the same card.
When you subscribe to the newsletter we keep the email address you typed and nothing else. Every message has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Why we keep it
Order records exist so we can ship, refund and account for what we sold, and tax law requires us to keep them for seven years. Marketing records exist only while you want them and are deleted on the day you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
Our courier receives the delivery address and nothing else. Our payment provider receives the amount and the card token. Our email provider receives the address of anyone subscribed. No one else receives anything, and we have never sold a customer list.
Cookies
The basket needs one cookie to remember what is in it, and the checkout needs one to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies are optional and off until you turn them on. Nothing here follows you to another website.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will act within thirty days, or sooner if the request is simple.
