About this Project
Storm Born came to the studio with a name, a mood board and a launch date eight weeks away.
The identity is built on one idea: weather has a temper. A display face with hard vertical stress carries the headlines, a single storm-grey accent runs through every surface, and the motion system borrows its easing from a gust: fast in, slow out.
On the web side the whole page is one scroll narrative. Each band hands its momentum to the next, so the visitor never feels a seam. Type scales fluidly between 320px and 1920px from a single clamp, which meant no art direction was lost on phones.
The site shipped six days early and the launch campaign doubled the client’s newsletter list in a fortnight.
