An editorial fashion series shot entirely between midnight and four, on streets emptied by the hour rather than by permit.

Fashion photographed at night usually means a lit set pretending to be a street. This series inverts that: real streets, real hours, and only the light a small flash and a shop window could provide.

Working against the clock

Each night gave us four usable hours and one location. Nothing could be reset, nothing could be reshot the following evening, and every frame in the final edit is from a first or second attempt.

Constraint is the fastest route to a picture that could not have been made any other way.
