Licensing and Prints

Every image on this site is available to license, and most are available as a print. Rates depend on the use, the territory and the term, so the fastest route is to write with the image and the intended placement.

Editorial licensing

Single use in print or online for a named publication, for one edition or one article. Covers the article page, the social posts promoting it, and the archive copy. Credit is required alongside or beneath the image.

Commercial licensing

Advertising, packaging, out of home and brand campaigns are quoted per project against the media plan. Exclusivity within a sector can be arranged for the term of the licence.

Fine art prints

Prints are made on archival cotton rag in editions of twenty five, signed and numbered, in three sizes. Each print ships flat with a certificate of authenticity. Allow three weeks for production.

What a licence does not include

A licence never transfers copyright, and it does not permit resale, sublicensing, use in a logo or trademark, or training a machine learning model. Cropping that changes the meaning of a picture needs written approval.

Archive requests

Around forty thousand frames sit outside the published edits. If you are looking for a subject rather than a specific picture, describe it and the studio will search the archive and send a selection.
