A bench, a loupe and a great deal of patience.

Our first workshop held one bench and a window. Three generations later the window is bigger and the bench is the same one: every setting is still cut, filed and polished by a person who signs their work.

We buy stones in small parcels and reject most of them. What survives is set into pieces we would happily wear ourselves, which is the only test we have ever trusted.
