A heritage cottage dining room renewed with a long spotted-gum table, soft pendant light and storage that disappears into the original wall panelling.

Rather than strip the cottage back, we repaired the original panelling and let it set the tone for everything new.
The table was made from a single fallen tree milled nearby, and dimmable pendants bring the ceiling height down to a warm, conversational scale.
