A compact family kitchen reworked for serious cooking, with full-height pantry storage, a stone-wrapped island and daylight drawn deep into the plan.

The old kitchen turned its back on the garden, so we rotated the working wall and opened a window seat beside the island.
Appliances sit behind flush panels, keeping the room calm when the cooking stops.
