Skin Tones Do Not Batch

Two people standing next to each other under the same light do not need the same correction, and a single global curve will flatten one of them. I cull hard, then work each keeper individually, then check the whole set together for drift.

Consistency Comes Last, Not First

The last pass over a gallery is the one that makes it feel like a single body of work: matching the blacks, easing back a saturated shirt, warming a frame that fell cold. That pass cannot happen before the individual edits, which is exactly why presets cannot do it.
