Your account

You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter into a contract to open a Canvas account. Keep your sign-in details and your device secure: anyone who can unlock your phone can move your money.

Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account, and we will freeze it while we investigate.

Using the wallet

Use Canvas only for lawful payments. We may hold, reverse or refuse a payment where we are required to by law, where fraud is suspected, or where completing it would breach these terms.

Free plan limits and Pro plan entitlements are set out on the pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

Fees and charges

The plan you choose sets what you pay. There are no hidden charges: anything payable is shown before you confirm a payment or a subscription.

A free trial ends automatically unless you choose to continue, and nothing is taken from your balance until you do.

Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time once its balance is zero and no payment is in flight. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, giving notice where the law allows it.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced in the app and by email before they take effect, and continuing to use Canvas afterwards means you accept them.
