Two seeded squads opened the Masters group stage with the longest series of the weekend, decided on the final ring of the fifth map.
Iron Vanguard opened with the aggressive push that carried them through the qualifiers, taking the first two maps inside twenty minutes each. Nightfall Syndicate answered by slowing the pace right down, trading map three and map four on objective control rather than kills. The decider went to the last ring on Ashfall Reach, where a single flank read handed Vanguard the series.
