The service runs three times a week and carries almost nobody. For four nights the window showed the same white plain and the same grey sky, and the only marker of progress was the samovar at the end of the carriage being refilled.
This is the slowest film we have made and the one people write to us about most. Boredom, it turns out, photographs beautifully when you let it run long enough.
