You walk the oldest blocks, put a hand in the soil that makes the difference between two wines with the same name, and finish with four glasses among the vines.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The route<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Up through the old terraces above the cellar, along the ridge where the cover crops are thickest, then down into the shade of the pressing hall. It is a gentle climb spread over an hour, with somewhere to sit at both ends.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Good to know<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The walk runs in every season except the fortnight of harvest, when the tractors own the rows. Wear closed shoes and bring a hat between November and March.
