Weddings are usually booked six to twelve months ahead, and summer Saturdays go first. Portrait and commercial sessions need far less notice; two or three weeks is normally enough, and I keep a couple of slots each month for short-notice work.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Rain is not a reason to cancel. Overcast light is the kindest light there is, and a shower usually gives us reflections and umbrellas to work with. If conditions become genuinely unworkable we move the session to the next mutually free date at no extra cost.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

A portrait session delivers twenty-five finished frames, a commercial half day around sixty, and a full wedding day four hundred or more. Every delivered image is individually edited; I do not pad a gallery with near-duplicates.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Regularly. Roughly a third of the work in this archive was made outside the country. Travel within fifty miles is included; beyond that I charge transport and accommodation at cost, with no day rate on top for travel time.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Yes. Prints are made on cotton rag or baryta paper by a fine-art lab and shipped mounted or rolled. Albums are hand-bound in linen or leather and designed with you over two rounds of revisions.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Both, often on the same day. Medium-format film suits portraits and quiet moments; digital covers everything that needs speed or low light. Film frames are scanned at high resolution and delivered in the same gallery.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Keep it simple and keep it yours. Solid colours and natural fabrics photograph beautifully; tight patterns and large logos fight the frame. Every booking comes with a short styling guide, and I am happy to look at options in advance.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Only when the room gives me nothing to work with. Fast lenses and modern sensors handle candlelight and window light without it, which keeps ceremonies and quiet interiors feeling like themselves.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
