Roughly four cents leave immediately in card and banking fees. We could hide this by asking you to cover it, but we would rather show it.<\/p>
Five cents fund the organization itself: the audit, the insurance, the small salaried team who negotiate with suppliers, chase grant paperwork and answer your emails.<\/p>
The remaining ninety-one cents reach a program. If you named a cause, they reach that cause. If you did not, they go to whichever active program is furthest from its goal that month.<\/p>
Every quarter we publish the ledger and an independent auditor reviews the annual accounts. If a figure on a cause page ever looks wrong to you, tell us: twice now a supporter has caught something before we did.<\/p>
