Wildroot began in a small workshop in Portland in 2015. Two hikers, fed up with gear that failed on real expeditions, decided to build something better. Every product starts with one question: would this survive a week in the backcountry?<\/em><\/p>

We believe the wilderness deserves respect, and so does the person walking through it. That's why we use only sustainably sourced materials and donate 1% of revenue to wild-land conservation every year.<\/p>
