Anywhere between 40 and 60 percent relative humidity keeps that movement small enough to be invisible.<\/p><h2 class=\"h4 fw-medium text-transform-none mt-5 mb-3\">Oil, do not varnish<\/h2><p>An oiled finish can be repaired in place: a light sand, a fresh coat, and the mark is gone.
